PenguDoku is operated by IdleHands Studio ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use PenguDoku.
PenguDoku is a puzzle game for iOS. The game does not require users to create an account, register, or provide personal information to play. Certain online features, including the Daily Challenge, use Google Firebase services to support gameplay. PenguDoku may also offer optional rewarded advertisements through Google AdMob and one-time in-app purchases through Apple.
PenguDoku does not require you to provide personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, photos, contacts, or payment information to play the game.
If you choose to view a rewarded advertisement, Google AdMob may process device, app, advertising, diagnostic, consent, and interaction information as necessary to provide, measure, secure, and improve advertising services. The specific information processed may vary based on your device, region, privacy choices, and Google's advertising settings.
To support certain online features, including the Daily Challenge, PenguDoku uses Google Firebase services.
The Daily Challenge uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication, which creates an anonymous unique identifier so your Daily Challenge participation and results can be associated with your use of the game without requiring a traditional account.
PenguDoku also uses Firebase Analytics to collect information about app usage and gameplay. This information may include interactions with the game, gameplay events, device and app information, and other diagnostic or usage information made available through Firebase Analytics. We use this information to understand how players use the game and to improve PenguDoku.
We do not use this information to directly identify you by name or email address.
PenguDoku may save limited game data locally on your device so the game can function properly.
This may include game progress, puzzle state, gameplay resources, and settings.
Most game progress remains on your device. Information required for online features, including Daily Challenge participation and results, may be transmitted to and stored through Google Firebase.
PenguDoku uses Google Firebase to support certain online features and to understand app usage.
This currently includes:
PenguDoku may use Google AdMob to provide optional rewarded advertisements. Watching a rewarded advertisement is voluntary and may grant an in-game benefit, such as an additional gameplay resource.
Where required, PenguDoku may use Google's consent tools to request or manage privacy choices before advertising services are used. Ad serving may vary depending on your location, consent choices, device settings, and applicable law.
Information processed by Google through AdMob is subject to Google's applicable privacy policies and advertising terms.
PenguDoku may offer optional one-time in-app purchases through Apple's App Store, including permanent gameplay-assist passes. Purchases are processed by Apple. IdleHands Studio does not receive or store your full payment card or banking information.
Apple may process purchase, account, device, and transaction information according to Apple's own privacy policies and App Store terms.
PenguDoku does not currently offer subscriptions.
Information processed through Firebase and AdMob is subject to Google's Privacy Policy:

PenguDoku is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
